Communication
During the Translation Process
|
|
Every time you
begin a new project it is important to let us know who the contact
person will be through its duration, as doubts may arise during
the translation process that we can only resolve with your help.
When you fill out the online order form you will notice that a contact
name is required information.
Remember you
can contact your Personal Account Manager at any time with questions
or concerns you might have.
How
much time will it take to translate my document?
Generally speaking, the amount of time required to translate a
document will depend on:
- The time required to translate, proof-read and edit. Our translators
work at a rate of about 1500 to 3000 words a day per project,
depending on how complicated the material is. Also, the length
of each document will determine how many translators, proof-readers
and editors we will assign it.
- Whether
the original document is on paper or electronic. It takes longer
to recreate the format for paper documents than for electronic
ones. For this reason we recommend that you work with electronic
documents whenever possible. For more information on
this topic, click What
happens to my paper documents?

Clients with
experience in translation understand that, in order to obtain
high quality results, it is not only necessary to work with skilled
professionals and to apply a rigid Formula
for Quality Management: It is essential to give the translation
process sufficient time. When preparing your translation,
you can help us out by factoring in a reasonable amount of time
in which to complete it.
When
do you consider a translation finished?
A translation is finished when you receive a message from your
Personal Account Manager stating as much, along with the corresponding
invoice which you can download directly from your Personal Account.
Then, according to the conditions stipulated in the contract,
we will charge your credit card the appropriate amount.
Delivery
of your translated document
Technically speaking, we don't send you the finished translation:
instead we make it available to you as an electronic file which
you can download from your Personal Account. This may seem unnecessarily
complicated, but iway to gaurantee total security as this way,
the delivery process takes place on our secure
server.
Revisions
or other modifications to your finished document
If, after examining your translated documents, you would like
us to make changes to or revise them, please contact your Personal
Account Manager to let him or her know.
